Anthropic launches Claude in Excel and new “Tasks” system for Claude Code: Claude in Excel is now available for Pro subscribers, letting users ask questions about any cell, test scenarios without breaking formulas, and debug errors — all with cell-level citations to verify logic. Leading AI researcher in talks to raise at $4B valuation for self-improving superintelligent AI: Richard Socher — one of the world’s most decorated AI researchers — is reportedly in talks to raise hundreds of millions for a new AI lab called Recursive, which aims to build self-improving superintelligent AI systems. Socher has serious credibility: a Stanford PhD, 180,000+ academic citations, and a track record that includes founding MetaMind (acquired by Salesforce in 2016) and You. com (now valued at $1.5B with $200M+ raised).

3. Vibe coding startup Anything is looking to hire “vibe coders”: The founder of Anything posted to X that he's looking to hire vibe coders, or non-technical people who use AI chatbots to generate working code from simple descriptions.
