Welcome back, Superhuman. Yesterday had an unexpected star: mice. First, the AI mouse heyclicky introduced a new way to get answers about anything on your computer screen. Then, AI performed its first autonomous brain surgery on a real, physical mouse — if a neuroscientist’s claims are true.

Today: Claude gets 7 updates, how to recreate the viral ‘Subway Running Trend’ with Higgsfield AI, and get the latest prompts and trending social posts.

TODAY IN AI

Watch how heyclicky can explain anything on your screen with visual diagrams. Source: heyclicky.

1. Heyclicky can now see your mouse and draw on your screen: Heyclicky, a tool that turns your mouse cursor into an AI assistant, now tracks where you point to figure out what you need help with, listens to your instructions, and answers them with custom drawings and diagrams. In a recent demo, heyclicky’s founder prompts it to explain topics on his screen, with the agent quickly drawing live explanations on top of his browser tabs. It runs on OpenAI’s GPT-6.1 Sol Ultrafast and is available now on Mac and Windows.

2. Neuroscientist claims AI performed autonomous brain surgery on a mouse: Gabriel Ocana-Santero, an Oxford PhD and CEO of Exin Therapeutics, says he gave AI control of a custom motorized surgery rig fitted with cameras, along with one goal: reduce seizures in an epileptic mouse. He claims the AI chose the drug, targeted the brain region, and carried out the injection, while a vet stood by with a kill switch. No outside sources have verified his claims yet. Read Gabriel’s viral thread.

3. Anthropic and OpenAI close the week with upgrades: Claude received seven new features, including support for 24 more languages and a hands-free voice mode for driving that works through Apple’s CarPlay. Meanwhile, OpenAI’s Tibo Sottiaux announced the lab is doubling usage limits for Pro and Business Premium tiers and will continue extending higher limits for its personal agent, dots.

We’ve all seen what AI tools can do broadly, but it’s not always clear how AI specifically applies to your workflow.

Quit throwing AI at poorly defined problems: Take Optimizely’s 5-minute worksheet to find out your highest-value AI use case in 3 steps:

  1. Map your workflow: Capture your entire system accurately

  2. Find the friction: Spot where work is breaking or inefficient

  3. Get to the root cause: Turn symptoms into a clear, actionable problem statement

And from your problem statement, you can build your perfect AI workflow.

How to recreate the mega-viral ‘Subway Running Trend’ with Higgsfield AI

Click here to see a viral recreation of the ‘Subway Running Trend’. This one uses the legendary Argentinian soccer player Lionel Messi (65k likes). Photo: @deartroubleee on Instagram

  • Open Higgsfield > ‘Video’ > ‘Create Video’ > ‘Higgsfield Genjutsu’, then choose ‘Motion Transfer’.

  • Open ‘Motion Library’ and search the ‘Community Trending’ feed for the train/subway performance; if it appears, select it directly. If not, upload this reference clip instead.

  • Upload 2–5 clear photos of yourself from similar angles so Higgsfield can keep your face and appearance consistent. Then, turn on ‘Prompt’ and use the following prompt:

Sample Prompt: “Recreate this train-performance trend using the person in my reference images. Preserve the exact phone-mounted camera movement, train motion, pacing, singing performance, city reveal, and shot timing. Keep my face, hair, outfit, and body proportions consistent throughout, with realistic lighting, motion, and facial performance.”

  • Set the output to 9:16 and 1080p, then click ‘Generate’.

  • Add Dua Lipa’s “Training Season” live audio inside Instagram or TikTok when posting— the current trend commonly uses that song.

FROM THE FRONTIER

AI is fueling cloud growth for Big Tech. So why did Google’s stock just have its worst day ever?

Made with Midjourney

☁ AI’s consistent winner? The cloud. Alphabet, Microsoft, and Amazon all reported quarterly earnings this week, and cloud results stole the show. Google Cloud revenue skyrocketed 103% to $31B, Azure jumped 48% to $33B, and Amazon Web Services popped 39% to $46B — growth fueled partly by all our AI prompts. That wasn’t enough for Wall Street, though.

📉 Wall Street sours on Big Tech. Despite growing top-line revenue, Microsoft’s stock stayed flat, Amazon slid 4%, and Google plunged over 12%, its worst day ever. The disconnect? $750B. That’s how much Big Tech plans to spend in 2027, mostly on AI infrastructure. Investors want to know when, or even if, that will eventually pay off. Apollo’s chief economist Torsten Slok summarizes the concerns here.

Here are the biggest product launches from this week

  • Apple’s latest lineup arrived: Apple’s first MacBook Pro with a touchscreen dominated headlines, but Apple also revealed a new iMac and iPad mini.

  • Google doubled down with two models: Gemini 4 Carbon shot Google back to the top of most leaderboards. It’s rolling out to cyber defenders now. Meanwhile, Genie 4 entertained the timeline with its interactive 3D worlds, complete with advanced physics, sounds, and real-time controls.

  • Block Inc. unveiled a voice model that fits on your MacBook: Dessa can hold human-like conversations and is small enough to run locally on a MacBook Pro (M4 Max or better).

What’s trending on socials & headlines today

Meme of the day

🦣 Mini Mammoth: In a mind-bending mixed-reality demo, Simulon founder Divesh Naidoo interacts with a pocket-sized woolly mammoth “standing” on his desk. As he films, it reacts to his voice, sips his water, and even shies away from a light (1.2M views).

😆 Troll Marketing: Meta’s Alexandr Wang and OpenAI’s Tibo Sottiaux are beefing again. Wang’s latest jab? Buying the domain for Tibo’s name and setting up an ironic redirect. It’s like Kendrick vs. Drake for people really into personal AI agents (1.9M views).

🤑 5,300 Millionaires: Anthropic’s IPO could be the greatest wealth creation event in history. If current numbers hold, the lab’s 5,300 employees will own $331B in stock, or an average $62M each. Read more wild stats from Hill CEO Andrew Benson.

📝 Banned Words: AI models have gotten much better at writing, but they’re still far from perfect. Try adding this list of words to your LLM’s custom instructions to make it talk more like a normal person (2.7K bookmarks).

🤯 Cost Comparison: AI has been driving electronics prices up all year, and it’s definitely starting to show. Case in point: The new fully-loaded MacBook costs more than a used Tesla (1M views).
