1. OpenAI releases new health benchmark — and some surprising findings: The company unveiled HealthBench, a new benchmark that can determine how good AI is at performing different health-related tasks — something that, until now, has been difficult to measure. But the most surprising finding from the report claims that OpenAI’s newest models outperformed physicians in the dataset. While this could pave the way for cheaper and more accessible healthcare in the future, AI models are still prone to hallucinations and errors that could cause serious reliability issues.

2. Anyone can now try fan-favorite agent Manus AI: Butterfly Effect sent a DeepSeek-like shock through the industry a few months ago when it launched an agent that seemed every bit as good as OpenAI’s latest offerings. 3. AI predicts cancer outcomes by looking at patients’ faces: Researchers just found that AI can help doctors detect your biological age with more precision than clinicians alone. This has huge real-world implications: For example, a person with a younger-looking face might be able to handle more aggressive cancer treatment, even if their chronological age says otherwise.

✨ Three new apps I’ve been experimenting with

One of the best ways to learn about AI is just by trying different tools and seeing what sticks. It always gets me thinking about new ideas and leaves me feeling excited about the future. So I wanted to share a few apps I’ve been playing around with lately. These don’t require any downloads or sign-ins — you can just use them directly in your browser.

ryOS AI: Cursor’s Ryo Lu says he vibe-coded this entire app from scratch. It’s basically a proof-of-concept for what AI-powered browsers might look like in a year or two, but with a cool retro aesthetic and lots of fun easter eggs to discover.

DreamO: This open-source app from TikTok-maker ByteDance lets you upload one or two reference images, then transform them into something else with a text prompt. You can change the perspective of the shot, add new props, or even switch out the background.

LegoGPT: This tool, created by researchers at Carnegie Mellon’s Generative Intelligence Lab, lets you generate “physically stable designs from text prompts.” It could pave the way for AI capable of designing actual physical objects. You can try the demo here.

• Go to Canva and sign up with your account.

• Now select ‘Canva Sheet‘

• On your dashboard open ‘Canva Sheets.’ You can either choose a pre-designed template or begin with a blank spreadsheet.

• If you have a pattern forming in your data (like a few repeated entries), highlight the relevant cells, click ‘Actions,’ and choose ‘Magic Fill.’

• To get a quick summary or analysis, select the dataset, click on ‘Magic Insights,’ and type questions like: ‘What’s the total spend?’
