Welcome back, Superhuman. AI is officially a matter of national security. After sidelining Mythos, the US government has now asked OpenAI to stagger the release of GPT-5.6, citing security concerns. Meanwhile, Anthropic sent Congress another letter accusing China of “brazenly” copying Claude — and calling for action.

Today: Zaro turns company data into live apps, how to delegate work in Slack with Claude Tag, and get the latest prompts and trending social posts.

TODAY IN AI

Anthropic accuses Alibaba of largest distillation attack ever. Image source: Bbc.com

1. Anthropic accuses Alibaba of “brazenly” extracting Claude’s abilities: In a letter sent to members of Congress, the AI lab alleges that Alibaba operators ran nearly 29M exchanges through 25,000 fraudulent accounts in an effort to learn and replicate Claude's abilities. Anthropic calls it the biggest attack to date, dwarfing a similar campaign it flagged in February from DeepSeek, Moonshot, and MiniMax.

2. Memory and AI-chip stocks soar amid broader selloff: Companies up and down the AI supply chain continue to post blowout earnings from AI demand. Micron more than quadrupled Q3 revenue from $9.3B last year to $41.5B, Qualcomm unveiled a new data center CPU while roughly doubling its non-handset revenue projections, and SK Hynix overtook Samsung as South Korea’s most valuable company. But while these stocks jumped on strong earnings, the broader NASDAQ index is down over 3% this week.

3. Zaro launches a workspace that turns your scattered company data into live apps: Zaro pulls your company’s data — Slack threads, emails, databases — into a single workspace, then lets you describe what you need and spin up custom dashboards, morning briefings, or agents from your own data. The platform also automatically routes tasks between frontier models and cheaper alternatives to stay cost-effective. See how it works.

Companies are spending millions on AI tools, but guess what: Most employees don’t know how to use them (if they can even find them).

Slackbot is the AI built directly into your Slack channel, bringing instant productivity where your team already works.

THE FRIDAY FOUR

In case you missed them: this week’s four biggest stories

Made with Midjourney

OpenAI pressed its cyber advantage while Anthropic’s top models are on the bench. Anthropic’s Mythos and Fable are still down as the AI leader negotiates with the US government to determine a safe path forward. OpenAI seized the opening this week by shipping its full GPT-5.5-Cyber to trusted defenders and launching Patch the Planet, a program built to help organizations close vulnerabilities at scale.

Anthropic dropped Claude into your Slack channels. With Claude Tag, anyone on an Enterprise or Team plan can now tag @Claude in a Slack channel and have the AI jump in to help knock out work. It responds right in Slack, pulls context from the thread, and can work collaboratively with teammates. Top AI researcher Andrej Karpathy called the update a “new paradigm” for using Claude, but others aren’t so sure.

Agent “loops” are emerging as AI’s next big shift. Claude Code creator Boris Cherny and OpenClaw founder Peter Steinberger — among others — both expect agent loops to be the next evolution of working with AI. Loops establish a repetitive workflow: you hand an agent a goal with clear instructions and success benchmarks, then let it execute, iterate, and check its own work. It swaps the back-and-forth conversation for an automated workflow. Learn more in this viral article (9M views).

Sakana AI revealed a tool that goes toe-to-toe with Mythos and Fable. Fugu is a platform that claims frontier-grade results by orchestrating multiple models under the hood, routing tasks to the optimal LLM. It runs through a single API endpoint and posts strong early benchmarks — though independent validation hasn't landed yet.

Readers also loved In The Weights, a tool that tells you if you're important enough to be included in modern AI models' training data.

THE AI ACADEMY

How to delegate work in Slack with Claude Tag

Source: Claude

  • Open Claude Tag, click Add to Slack, and complete the setup

  • Grant Claude access to selected channels. Open the Slack channel where you want Claude to help

  • Type @Claude followed by the task and give enough context

  • Keep working while Claude researches, drafts, summarizes, or completes the task

  • Review Claude's response, make any edits, and use the output however you need

Example prompt: @Claude Review the last week's product discussion in this channel. Summarize the key decisions, list any open action items, identify blockers, and draft a Slack update I can share with leadership.

Pro tip: Treat Claude like a coworker, not a chatbot. Assign complete tasks with clear outcomes, and include any context or tool access it needs to finish the job.

Picking an API by seeing how quickly it returns a result could miss what really matters in production. This guide from You.com explains why raw latency alone is a misleading signal and what to measure instead.
