1. ChatGPT can now connect to your favorite apps: OpenAI is addressing one of the biggest headaches at work — digging through multiple apps to track down the info you need. Deep research can now pull data from third-party sources, including Gmail, Teams, GitHub, and Google Drive — and you can add additional apps with new MCP support. Plus, it’ll show exactly where each piece of information came from, so you can quickly double-check it. And no more uploading spreadsheets or files — if it’s connected, ChatGPT can grab what it needs on its own. Watch the full presentation here.

2. But wait, there’s more – ChatGPT can now record and summarize your meetings: OpenAI wants to make meeting note-taking a thing of the past. Its new Record feature lets you record conversations with colleagues, then automatically generates a summary of key points, action items, and open questions once the meeting wraps up. You’ll also get access to the full transcript, in case you want to revisit specific details. Plus, each transcript gets added to your knowledge base, so you can easily reference past meetings whenever you need to. It works well for brainstorming sessions and voice notes, too.

3. Mistral takes on Cursor and Copilot with new vibe coding app: The French startup just launched Mistral Code, a platform that promises to help developers 10x their productivity while maintaining their companies’ security and compliance best practices. The platform essentially brings all of Mistral’s previous coding tools and models together under one roof — while supposedly offering more customization and safety features than its rivals.

FROM THE FRONTIER

Meta sheds light on futuristic Aria Gen 2 AI glasses

Meta shared more details about its experimental smart glasses. Source: Meta

Meta is about to help researchers literally see the world through a different lens. The tech giant unveiled an experimental pair of smart glasses called Aria Gen 2 earlier this year, and we just got some new details about what exactly they’ll be capable of.

Here’s what we know:

  • Their new eye-tracking mechanism is so precise that it can detect how many times you’ve blinked and find the exact center of your pupils and corneas. This translates to a much deeper understanding of how the wearer’s attention is shifting over time, a useful metric for developing next-gen interactive apps.

  • The same is true for hand tracking. The glasses use AI to understand how your hands are moving through a 3D space — data that can then be used to teach humanoid robots how to perform tasks that require a lot of dexterity.

  • The glasses know when you’re indoors or outdoors, they can detect your heart rate, and they can hear what you’re saying even in noisy environments. These metrics give scientists a wealth of data to draw from as they’re designing new AI tools.

Why it matters: While tech companies have been putting most of their energy into AI LLMs and apps, they’re starting to realize that we need new ways to interact with those models — smartphones and laptops aren’t going to cut it. While Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses are already available to the public, Aria Gen 2 could be our first glimpse at what’s coming just over the horizon.

If you’re a researcher, you can sign up to perform experiments with the Aria Gen 2 starting later this year.

PROMPT OF THE DAY

Objection Handling Script for Sales

Prompt: Act as a high-performing B2B sales strategist. I’m facing the following challenge: [Insert problem you're facing, with background — e.g., losing deals due to price objections, early-stage buyers pushing back, stakeholder misalignment, etc.].

Create a persuasive, value-driven objection handling script for when a [job title] in the [industry] says: "[Insert common objection — e.g., 'Your product is too expensive.']". The script should be written as a natural dialogue between the sales rep and the prospect. Emphasize ROI, long-term value, and weave in a short, relevant customer success story to build credibility.

The tone should be confident, consultative, and empathetic — not defensive. Format the script in a way I can easily copy and adapt, using [Rep:] and [Prospect:] lines. Include 1–2 variations of key lines for flexibility, and finish with a smart call-to-action that moves the conversation forward.

Bonus: suggest one follow-up email subject line and message I can send if the prospect still seems hesitant.
