1. Anthropic turns Claude into a teammate that lives inside Slack: Claude Tag lets anyone in a Slack channel tag @Claude so it can pull context from the conversation, get work done, and chat with team members. It replies to each request directly in Slack, builds context over time, and takes initiative when ambient behavior is enabled. Administrators control token-spend limits and data sharing. Now available in beta for Enterprise and Team customers. Try Claude Tag here or watch how it works.

2. Meta launches its first self-branded smart glasses line: Meta Glasses are the company’s first AI glasses to launch with its Muse Spark model built in, letting you play music, ask questions, capture photos and video, or translate in real time. They’re compatible with prescription lenses, come in 26 different styles, and offer 8+ hours of battery. Now available. Learn more or see how they work.

3. OpenArt launches Director, letting you “vibe direct” AI video clips up to 5 minutes long: Director lets anyone describe, generate, and edit short-form AI videos through a single conversation, offering consistent characters, voiceover, music, and captions. The startup, run by two ex-Googlers, is hoping its platform will change how videos are made, similar to what vibe coding did for software. Try Director or see how it works.

FROM THE FRONTIER

Test first, build later? AI has dropped the cost of experimentation to nearly zero in many fields

Made with Midjourney

The Kickstarter raise. For 15 days, Ethan Buck’s Kickstarter campaign for his miniature construction kit startup, BYLT, sat stagnant. That changed overnight when he posted a sleek AI-generated launch video that pulled in 5M+ views and helped raise $30K+ for a product he’s still finalizing. The story is equal parts feel-good founder’s journey — and a preview of how fast the rules are changing.

Moving quickly. Announcing a company using a launch video or product mock-up is nothing new. But what’s changed is the cost, time, and effort involved to make them. Bringing a prototype to life used to require weeks of work, input from various specialists, and, naturally, extensive meetings. Now the same process takes an afternoon and a few AI tokens.

Collapsing barriers. AI has collapsed the time it takes to go from idea to polished asset. While Ethan’s win was a product launch, the pattern fits any role: a marketer drafting landing pages, an accountant prepping tax plans, or a product manager testing new features.

The bottom line. Higher-level work will always require careful thought, attention, and human input. But as the cost of experimentation falls to near zero, the smart play may no longer be refining ideas carefully over weeks — but shipping them early and often.

THE AI ACADEMY

How to turn messy notes into a structured document with ChatGPT

  • Open ChatGPT and upload a clear photo of your handwritten notes

  • Ask ChatGPT to read the image and extract the key points

Sample Prompt: Keep the main points in order, group related ideas together, and use simple headings. Clean up messy wording, but don’t add anything that isn’t in the notes. If something is hard to read, mark it as [unclear].

  • Review the draft and ask ChatGPT to improve the structure

Follow up with: Make this draft easier to read, remove repetition, and turn it into a polished meeting recap with action items.

While AI adoption continues to accelerate, organizations may still lack a clear model to manage it. Costs are rising, ownership is fragmented and connecting spend to outcomes can become more difficult.
