Claude learns Microsoft Word

ALSO: How to create viral LinkedIn posts with AI

Welcome back, Superhuman. The internet’s newest and oldest tools are learning to work together. First, Claude integrated Microsoft Excel. Then PowerPoint. Now, it can officially join your Word doc too — reading comments, making edits, and automating common workflows.

TODAY IN AI

1. Claude now connects to Microsoft Word: The AI chatbot can act as a writing assistant in Word — creating drafts, editing errors, and responding to comments directly in the document. Claude for Word can also save common workflows as repeatable skills. Currently rolling out in beta for Team and Enterprise plans. Watch it in action (11M+ views).

2. Sam Altman's home targeted in Molotov cocktail attack: A 20-year-old man was arrested Friday after allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at Sam Altman’s San Francisco home. No one was injured. Altman revealed the incident in a rare personal blog post, where he acknowledged that “the fear and anxiety about AI is justified,” along with several other beliefs and reflections.

3. Apple is building display-free smart glasses: Apple's first smart glasses will reportedly skip the in-screen display, relying on iPhone integration, cameras, microphones, speakers, and an AI-enhanced Siri to handle music, photos, and hands-free calls. Expected early 2027, the glasses are part of Apple’s AI wearables push that includes camera-equipped AirPods and a wearable pendant.

Your AI tools are only as good as the context you give them. Spinach AI records, transcribes & summarizes meetings in 100+ languages, then feeds that context to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor so they can execute. Go from meeting to action, automagically.

FROM THE FRONTIER

HumanX was last week — and AI leaders couldn’t stop talking about these 3 topics

Made with Midjourney

The conference. 6,700 executives, founders, and investors flocked to San Francisco last week for HumanX: a conference that’s quickly cementing itself as a premier event in the AI space. Three key topics dominated the conversation.

Claude mania. This year’s fan favorite was unmistakably Anthropic and Claude Code. It was a stark reversal from the debut conference, with venture capitalist Roseanne Wincek saying, “Last year OpenAI looked like the clear winner; this year Anthropic feels miles ahead.” However, one investor pointed out that the momentum can swing back just as quickly — a pattern the AI industry has seen play out dozens of times already.

The AI adoption bottleneck. Many speakers mirrored another sentiment: implementing AI is easy, but transforming a company or department around it is much harder. One winning formula? Rethinking workflows from scratch to be AI-forward, instead of just speeding up existing processes.

China's squeeze. The conference’s closing takeaway: China is increasingly putting pressure on the US by undercutting American labs on price with competitive open-weight models, while also attracting top Chinese researchers working in the US back home.

  • Sign up to Taplio and connect your LinkedIn profile.

  • Click “Write a Post” → open AI Assist. Ask AI Assist for ten ideas, describing what you want to write about and who it’s for.

Sample Prompt: Analyze my LinkedIn profile, posts, and audience, then generate 10 LinkedIn post ideas on using AI at work. Each idea should come from a real work moment, tie AI to leverage or career impact, challenge a common assumption, and match my clear, practical tone. Avoid hype. Optimize for replies over likes. Output only the 10 opening lines or angles.

  • Pick one idea and ask AI Assist to turn it into a simple outline.

  • Refine the outline and ask AI Assist to draft the full post.

  • Edit to make it sound like you and click “Schedule Post” to publish directly from Taplio.

(Pro tip: Do this weekly, generate 10 ideas, pick 1, reuse the structure, schedule.)

P.S. Upon request, Taplio shared a small perk for our readers: 7-day free trial + 1 month for $1 with code SUPERHUMAN1X1
