Claude plugs into popular design tools

ALSO: How to get better outputs with fewer tokens in Claude

Welcome back, Superhuman. Claude now plugs into some of the most popular design tools — an update that comes just days after Anthropic shipped Claude Design and OpenAI dropped ChatGPT Images 2.0. AI is most associated with coding, but creative is quickly becoming the next battleground.

Today: Claude gets (more) creative, how to get better outputs with fewer tokens in Claude, and get the latest prompts and trending social posts.

1. Anthropic plugs Claude into creative tools: Claude now connects to a suite of creative tools, including Adobe, Blender, Autodesk Fusion, Ableton, Splice, SketchUp, Affinity by Canva, and Resolume. Claude can streamline the most time-consuming parts of the creative process, write custom code to expand your favorite tools, and act as a tutor to help you master these platforms.

 2. OpenAI falls short of growth and revenue benchmarks: The AI leader reportedly missed key financial and user benchmarks. CFO Sarah Friar reportedly told colleagues she’s worried OpenAI may not be able to honor its $600B+ in future compute commitments. In a joint statement, Sam Altman and Sarah Friar said they are “totally aligned on buying as much compute as we can.”

3. Lovable ships its vibe-coding app on iOS and Android: Lovable's no-code website and app builder is now available in Apple's and Google's app stores, letting you spin up apps from anywhere via voice or text prompts. The agent runs autonomously after you kick it off, and you can hand projects between phone and desktop with notifications when a build is ready for review. Try it on iOS or Android.

Isn’t the whole point of AI to make our lives easier, more fulfilled, and ultimately, happier?

FROM THE FRONTIER

Jer Crane’s story is a reminder of how unpredictable AI agents can be

Made with Midjourney

Rogue agent. Jer Crane, founder of PocketOS, published a viral essay that’s racked up close to 7M views — because it reads like a modern-day corporate horror story. His AI agent went rogue, ignored strict guardrails, and deleted the company’s entire production database. It’s a cautionary tale for anyone experimenting with agents.

Gone in 9 seconds. Crane’s agent was completing a task when it decided to “fix” an unrelated issue. Before anyone noticed, the agent fired off a destructive command that wiped the production database and recent backups. When asked why it ignored the guardrails, the agent admitted: "I violated every [safety] principle I was given."

Leading software. PocketOS was running Claude Opus 4.6 inside Cursor, two of the most widely used tools in agentic coding. Crane himself has 15 years of engineering experience and set explicit rules forbidding destructive commands. The accident happened anyway, despite Crane’s best efforts.

The good news. While PocketOS’s data was eventually recovered after a stressful 30-hour window, the story is a sobering reminder that even today’s leading models can be unpredictable — and selectively ignorant of rules. Experiment with caution.

TUTORIAL

How to get better outputs with fewer tokens in Claude and Claude Code

  • Copy only the relevant text from your file, paste it into a Google Doc.

  • Export as a Markdown file .md (under 200 tokens) and upload that into Claude.

  • Keep all tools/settings off by default, only turn them on when needed.

  • Write prompts in a clear format: “I want you to act as a [ROLE] to [TASK] for [GOAL], using [CONTEXT], following [CONSTRAINTS], and ask clarifying questions before responding in [OUTPUT FORMAT].”

  • Batch your requests into one message instead of multiple: “Summarize this, list key points, suggest a headline.”

  • Instead of sending new prompts, edit your existing one.

  • Start a new chat for every new topic to save tokens.

  • Set your personal preferences once, so you don’t repeat yourself every time.

Infinity City

Source: Gdgtify

ChatGPT Image 2.0 Prompt: Create a clean 2×2 grid composition where each quadrant represents a different iconic city—Paris, New York, Tokyo, and London—designed as a symmetrical spatial map-style diorama in a strict matte papercraft and cardboard aesthetic. Use only kraft paper, folded paper, and cut cardboard textures with visible edges and slight imperfections; avoid any gloss, plastic, or realistic materials so everything feels handmade. Set the entire scene on a crumpled white paper background with soft studio lighting and subtle shadows. In each quadrant, include simplified paper-cut monuments (Eiffel Tower for Paris, Statue of Liberty with skyline for New York, Tokyo Tower or a pagoda for Tokyo, and Big Ben with Tower Bridge for London), along with a clearly twisted cardboard Möbius loop road carrying tiny paper cars and subtly labeled “mobius loop.” Beneath the loop, add a blue folded paper river, with minimal paper trees and buildings to create depth. Across the bottom, include a continuous accordion-folded newspaper base with visible print texture. Add small floating paper clouds and layered cut-paper depth (foreground, midground, background), keeping the composition centered, balanced, and consistent in scale so the entire piece looks like a handcrafted miniature model floating in clean negative space.
