Welcome back, Superhuman. Claude has internal thoughts it never shows you. Whenever you send a difficult prompt, it activates a “hidden space” where the model thinks, reasons, and even curses at itself while working. The AI lab says the setup is “strikingly similar” to how the human brain works.
Today: China’s new model doesn’t need Nvidia, how to turn raw data into a slide deck with Claude Design, and get the latest prompts and trending social posts.
TODAY IN AI
1. Anthropic reveals Claude has a mental workspace: New research from Anthropic found that Claude often works through concepts without writing them directly in its chain-of-thought, much like how a person might think about one topic while doing something else. The concept, called a J-space, formed unintentionally during training and now helps power Claude’s higher-level reasoning. Watch how it works or test out a live demo of a J-space.
2. Chinese labs keep piling on the pressure: Tencent released Hy3, a strong-for-its size open-source model, while Meituan fully open-sourced LongCat-2.0 — the first trillion-parameter coding model allegedly trained on 50,000 Chinese chips rather than Nvidia GPUs. Both land as cheaper, competitive alternatives to US models, while signaling China's steady push to cut its reliance on American silicon.
3. Nvidia's next flagship AI rack delayed until 2028: The chipmaker's Kyber system — a cabinet that fuses 144 of its most powerful Rubin Ultra chips into a single computer for training frontier models — has reportedly been pushed from 2027 to 2028, according to SemiAnalysis. If true, it’s the latest in a string of product setbacks for Nvidia, although the tech giant has denied the report.

AI is driving traffic, revenue, and conversions across the marketing funnel — here’s what 30 companies have found

Putting AI to the test. Despite complaints of “AI slop” on the internet, one trend is becoming clear: AI is consistently driving traffic, conversions, and revenue. A recent report from Detailed explores how 30 companies have successfully put AI to work, and surfaces three takeaways you should know.
AI-powered search works. On a February earnings call, used-car marketplace CarGurus confirmed that CG Discover — its website’s AI search tool — has sent website traffic and attributable leads soaring, up 3.5x and 10x respectively on a quarterly basis. The results mirror reports from Amazon and Walmart, both of which have seen similar conversion gains from their on-site AI tools.
More content, more traffic. Duolingo and Coursera — two companies arguably at risk of being disrupted by AI — have used the tech to double down on content. Duolingo co-founder, Luis von Ahn, said "AI has fundamentally changed what's possible," helping the app ship 10x more courses when compared to its pace two years ago. Coursera tells a similar story, with more than 120,000 learners now using its AI course-dubbing feature.
Creating custom experiences at scale. Accounting platform QuickBooks rebuilt its entire onboarding flow from the ground up, using AI to detect each new user's business type and then generate a tailored welcome experience. Read the remaining case studies here.

ChatGPT Prompt: Act as my personal tutor for [TOPIC]. My background is [BACKGROUND], my goals are [GOALS], and my available study time is [TIME AVAILABLE]. Teach me one concept at a time, ask diagnostic questions, adapt difficulty dynamically, provide examples, create exercises, test understanding, identify weak areas, and personalize explanations based on my responses. NanoBanana Prompt: [TEAM] + [PERSONE]
Act as a Senior Pixel Artist, specializing in retro 16-bit chibi football player sprites (style: classic SNES/GBA era pixel art, chibi character proportions).
PHASE 1: BACKGROUND
A flat, solid background in [TEAM]'s official primary color from the real national team guidelines. Centered behind the player sprite, [TEAM]'s real official crest/shield logo is rendered in a pixelated 8-bit style, large, faded/desaturated and semi-transparent — clearly visible but not competing with the foreground player sprite. No gradient, no texture — strictly flat pixel colors only.
PHASE 2: PLAYER SPRITE — CHIBI PROPORTIONS
A pixel art football player sprite representing [PERSONE], drawn in classic chibi style: oversized head (roughly 1/2 of total body height), short compact body and legs, large expressive face with simplified but recognizable features. The player wears [TEAM]'s real official home kit — accurate jersey color, stripe pattern, shorts, socks, and boots, all reproduced in flat pixel colors exactly matching the team's real kit.
Pose: energetic goal celebration — both arms raised and fists clenched, mouth open, legs spread wide. The sprite stands on a small flat black pixel shadow/ground patch. The sprite occupies roughly 50–60% of frame height, centered horizontally and positioned in the lower-center of the frame.
TECH SPECS:
Flat 2D pixel art only, no 3D, no anti-aliasing, no gradients, no photographic elements. Chibi character proportions. Background: flat solid team color + semi-transparent pixelated crest. Resolution: 8K upscaled from pixel base.IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
