Welcome back, Superhuman. Google went months without releasing a frontier model, a drought that inspired some brutal memes. But that ended yesterday, when the tech giant surprised the industry with Gemini 4 Argon. Also, Kled AI has a new approach to collecting real-world human data.
Today: Tech CEOs gather in DC, learn how to recreate a viral “Bad Cat”-style AI sitcom with ChatGPT + Runway, and get the latest prompts and trending social posts.
TODAY IN AI
1. Google surprises the industry with a new model: Gemini 4 Argon sets new highs on several benchmarks, with standout performance in coding, reasoning, and long-running tasks, along with an industry-leading million-token output. Following a new industry trend, Google is offering early access to select partners first before a broader rollout. See how Argon stacks up against other top models.
2. Kled AI updates its “human demonstration” data collection platform: The startup’s new platform lets its 500,000 volunteer contributors submit datasets by acting out a range of tasks across image, video, audio, and text. Kled AI claims AI labs can request virtually any dataset to use as training data and collect it within 72 hours. See how it works.
3. Tech CEOs gather in Washington, DC to sign an AI safety agreement: After weeks of growing online discourse, AI leaders signed the Joint Commitment on Frontier Responsibilities. This pledge holds frontier labs responsible for safely developing AI, maintaining internal controls, and submitting to external audits when necessary. One catch: it doesn’t appear to be legally binding, but rather a voluntary promise.

You'll learn why model choice, auto routing, and harness and context optimization make a difference in the cost-performance of enterprise AI.
TUTORIAL
How to recreate the viral “Bad Cat” style AI sitcoms with ChatGPT + Runway
Open ChatGPT > Images. Create a distinctive anthropomorphic pet with a consistent outfit, hairstyle, accessories, and personality.
Generate a recurring sitcom setting such as a slightly cluttered apartment, kitchen, balcony, or living room with a warm 90s-TV look.
Sample Prompt: “Create a recurring sitcom character: an anthropomorphic [animal] with [hair/style], wearing [outfit/accessories], living in a warm, slightly cluttered 1990s apartment with soft tungsten lighting, static multi-camera framing, subtle film grain, realistic textures, and expressive human-like body language. Create 6–8 keyframes for a simple gag with a setup, escalation, reveal, and reaction.”
Upload each keyframe to Runway Image to Video and animate only the action needed for that specific shot.
Keep motion prompts simple, such as “the cat slowly opens the box,” “looks toward the doorway,” or “starts dancing confidently.”
Arrange the clips in order so the pacing builds toward one clear visual punchline.
Add a short title card, retro grading, light grain, and simple comedic audio before exporting for Reels or TikTok.
FROM THE FRONTIER
Revenue is soaring at OpenAI and Anthropic — but will that be enough to outrun their growing expenses?

Made with Midjourney
🤔 AI tools are undoubtedly popular, but are they profitable? This is a question investors have been trying to answer for months, and Anthropic’s leaked IPO prospectus just gave them some hard numbers to work with:
The good: Annual revenue hit $4.6B in 2025, up 12x from 2024.
The bad: It posted a $42B net loss during the same period.
The ugly: It’s on the hook for $518B in future cloud and compute commitments.
OpenAI is in a similar position: it lost $34B last year on $13B in revenue. But the situation is improving for both labs. And quickly. Anthropic’s annualized revenue reportedly hit $65B in July, while OpenAI’s has climbed to nearly $70B this year. Those are huge jumps, but there’s still one major unanswered question: Are expenses rising just as quickly? The general public won’t know until one of these labs IPOs, and its full financials documents are made public.
Zooming out: Consulting firm Bain & Co. estimates the AI industry is on track to spend nearly $6 trillion on new compute capacity by 2030. Existing demand will likely contribute $1.8T to that figure. That leaves a $4.2T revenue shortfall the industry needs to find for its immense spending to be justified.

🤦 Super Misspelling: Tech CEOs and gov officials posted the new AI accord all over social media, and users quickly spotted a typo. Nothing says “superintelligence” quite like a basic error. Hint: it’s on the signatory page (3M views).
🧠 Claude’s Mind: What does the inside of Claude’s mind look like? Apparently, a cross between The Matrix and the Backrooms, according to a video circulating on Reddit. (2K upvotes).
📚 Historic Gift: Citadel founder Ken Griffin doesn’t think AI will kill higher education, and just put his money where his mouth it. He gave Carnegie Mellon the largest financial gift in education history to develop a tech-first campus in Miami.
😅 Demo Difficulties: Live demos are hard, even for world’s top AI labs. A viral video shows OpenAI’s presenter hitting a snag while showing off dots, but rolling with it like a pro.
