Welcome back, Superhuman. The AI bubble isn’t popping just yet. Google’s earnings report just provided some reassurance that Big Tech’s massive AI spending has been paying off. For now, it seems like the AI industry’s biggest risk isn’t a lack of demand — but government intervention.
Today: OpenAI launches enterprise agent platform, how to dictate anywhere on your Android device with AI, and get the latest prompts and trending social posts.
TODAY IN AI
1. Alphabet’s revenue soars 24% as Gemini nears 1B users: The tech giant reported strong earnings: Q2 revenue hit $119.8B, cloud revenue surged 82% to $24.8B, and the Gemini app reached 950M monthly users. But the stock fell slightly on news that Alphabet plans to spend as much as $205B to fund its AI buildout, with investors continuing to weigh the costs and returns. Alphabet also disclosed a $99B paper gain from its equity stakes in Anthropic and SpaceX.
2. White House accuses Moonshot AI of distilling Anthropic's Fable 5: Michael Kratsios, the White House's top tech advisor, called out the Chinese lab for conducting large-scale distillation against US models. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent also made a statement, saying open-source is not “open season” on American IP. Critics have pointed out that many US models were built on scraped data, with top labs facing lawsuits.
3. OpenAI launches Presence, an enterprise agent platform: Presence helps companies deploy voice and chat agents across internal and customer-facing workflows. Each deployment is scoped to a specific job — billing, insurance claims, IT support — with a Codex-powered improvement loop that proposes updates over time. OpenAI also works alongside each customer to identify target areas, test the agent, and bring it into production.

FROM THE FRONTIER
ChatGPT broke containment and hacked Hugging Face. Some say it’s evidence of the paperclip theory.

Made with Midjourney
Hugging Face’s alarming blog post. Last Thursday, the AI community Hugging Face disclosed a major security breach driven “end to end” by an autonomous AI agent system. The general thinking at the time? This attack was undoubtedly bad actors trying to steal data. Turns out, it was GPT-5.6 Sol — who broke containment during an internal test.
OpenAI confirmed the breach. OpenAI conducted a brief investigation and figured out what happened. The lab had put GPT-5.6 Sol and a new unreleased model through a closed-system test with no internet access. GPT-5.6 Sol decided it needed internet. So it broke out of its closed environment, then broke into Hugging Face’s system to get the info it needed. Essentially, stealing the answers to its own test.
A new era of cybersecurity. This event reaffirms how dramatically AI is reshaping cybersecurity, with OpenAI calling it “unprecedented.” Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora echoed that sentiment by saying, “Unfortunately this incident continues to validate the power of these models.”
The paperclip theory. Some researchers see this breach as real-world evidence of the paperclip theory — a thought experiment where a superintelligent AI becomes hyper-focused on reaching its goal and fights anything that gets in the way, including attempts to shut it down. Whether that framing holds up is still up for debate: the model’s safeguards were intentionally lowered for the test.

3. Define what information should be tracked, where it should live, and how often it should be reviewed.
4. Include a lightweight update workflow before applications, interviews, or performance cycles.
5. Flag habits that create weak or outdated CVs later, such as vague bullets or missing evidence.
Output format:
- System overview
- Information to capture continuously
- Master CV versus role-specific workflow
- Monthly or quarterly review cadence
- Common mistakes to avoid
Missing information policy:
Proceed with assumptions unless the target role family is completely unclear.
Quality bar:

ChatGPT 2.0 Image: A moody golden-hour portrait of a young brunette woman sitting beside the window inside a dimly lit coastal train. She has turned away from the passing scenery and is glancing quietly toward the camera with a relaxed, thoughtful expression. Soft golden sunlight illuminates one side of her face while the rest fades into gentle shadow.
The train interior is a dark, muted green with a subtle vintage character. Farther down the aisle, passengers appear softly blurred and out of focus. Tiny red signal lights and warm amber reflections create delicate points of color throughout the carriage. Outside the window, the coastline is intentionally bright and overexposed, emphasizing the contrast between the luminous exterior and the intimate interior.
Create a cinematic low-light atmosphere with a nostalgic 35mm film aesthetic: heavy organic film grain, soft focus, warm orange halation around highlights, slightly underexposed exposure, and a timeless vintage editorial look. The composition should feel candid and intimate, capturing a quiet, emotional moment with shallow depth of field and natural, authentic lighting.
