Google unveils Googlebook, its new Gemini-native laptop: Googlebook — unveiled at The Android Show: I/O Edition 2026 — features Gemini Intelligence and AI-native features like Magic Pointer: a cursor that responds when you click on screen. The laptop also lets you vibe-code custom widgets and runs Android apps directly. Expected to ship this fall. Watch Googlebook in action or learn everything announced at The Android Show.
2. Krea launches K2, an image model built for aesthetics: K2 is Krea’s first in-house image model built specifically for aesthetic diversity and stylistic control, rather than photorealism. FROM THE FRONTIER
Not all frontier models are created equal. Here’s where each major model excels.

Staying up-to-date. Today's top labs have started optimizing their models for different strengths. If you’ve gotten accustomed to relying on one model, it’s probably time to expand your roster. Here's when to reach for each — based on the latest rankings from Arena.
The leaders. Arena calls Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.7 "the most consistently dominant model," leading across nearly every major category — a rare feat in a field this competitive. Google's Gemini 3.1 Pro runs a close second overall, with a “notable edge” in creative writing.
The contenders. Meta's Spark is a standout for coding, OpenAI's GPT-5.5 shows especially strong performance in math, while Grok 4.20 rounds out the contenders with strength in creative writing and hard prompts. On the creative side, GPT-Image 2 tops text-to-image and Veo 3.1 claims video.
The best model. Our suggestion? Pull up Arena’s LLM leaderboard or a similar ranking, filter by your most common use case, and start testing. Bookmark the models that work best for you, skip the ones that don’t, and check back in when there’s an update.

Sample Prompt: I'm evaluating this startup idea: [paste idea]. Act like a top-tier VC and startup operator, and create a concise 10-slide investment-style analysis that determines whether this idea is worth pursuing. Cover the market opportunity (TAM/SAM/SOM), ICP and pain point, competitors and pricing, market trends, SWOT analysis, product differentiation, V1 build cost and tooling stack, ideal founding team, GTM strategy for the first 100 customers, biggest risks, and a 30/60/90-day roadmap. Use modern visual presentation style with charts, tables, and concise executive-level insights instead of long paragraphs. Quantify assumptions where possible, include contrarian risks and reasons the idea may fail, cite every important claim using recent sources from the last 12 months, and end with a brutally honest Green/Yellow/Red verdict on whether a founder should spend the next 5 years building this. You’ll get detailed analysis of your business idea within minutes
Pro Tip: Create a dedicated Space for startup ideas and save this as the default instruction. Then you can reuse the same workflow for every new idea instead of rebuilding it each time
