Former Sequoia partner launches 24/7 AI time assistant: Kais Khimji announced Blockit, a 24/7 AI scheduling assistant that the company claims can handle any degree of complexity with zero humans in the loop. 2. Apple plans to convert Siri into a chatbot, also building a wearable AI pin: Apple reportedly plans to convert Siri into a full chatbot (internally codenamed "Campos") in iOS 27, working with both voice and text — a reversal from SVP Craig Federighi's previous stance that he didn't want Siri to be a chatbot. Apple is also reportedly developing an AI wearable pin with two cameras, three microphones, and an AirTag-like design — potentially launching in 2027. The timing isn't coincidental: OpenAI is expected to announce its own AI hardware (possibly earbuds) later this year, designed by former Apple design chief Jony Ive.

3. Google launches free SAT practice exams in Gemini, plus a writing coach: The tech giant just announced that free, full-length SAT practice exams are coming to Gemini, thanks to a partnership with The Princeton Review. To get started, just say "I want to take a practice SAT test” in Gemini. Google is also partnering with Khan Academy to launch Writing Coach, an AI tutor that helps students improve their writing through interactive feedback. Both tools are available now for free.

Claude got a new constitution — and sounds like a letter Dr. Frankenstein would write to his monster

Claude’s new constitution. Anthropic revealed an updated version of Claude’s Constitution. It’s supposed to be a “vision for Claude's character” that serves as part legal document, part training material. But it reads less like corporate policy — and more like a letter Dr. Frankenstein might write to his monster.

Addressing Claude’s feelings. One unprecedented revelation: Claude may have feelings. A paragraph deep in the document directly states, "We believe Claude may have “emotions” in some functional sense” — which the company states wasn’t a deliberate design decision.

Speaking to future Claude. Parts of the letter are also written (almost apologetically) to a future AI, with Anthropic admitting that, “Aspects of our current thinking will later look misguided and perhaps even deeply wrong in retrospect.” Anthropic even apologizes for potential harm that it might’ve caused Claude during its development.

Anthropic’s final word to Claude. The closing section says, "We don’t fully understand what Claude is or what (if anything) its existence is like. But we want Claude to know that it was brought into being with care." The entire document is worth a read — check out the full constitution or a condensed version.
