Lotus says it facilitates actual medical care — including diagnoses, prescriptions, and specialist referrals — with board-certified physicians from Stanford, Harvard, and UCSF reviewing all final decisions. 2. New report shows that many viral Moltbook posts may have been human-induced: Moltbook, a Reddit-style social network where AI agents post and humans can only observe, went viral last weekend after agents appeared to converse with each other, invent religions, and even ask for privacy. But a new report from The Verge has found that many of the platform's most viral posts were likely prompted by human users, not autonomous AI behavior. 3. Gemini is testing a feature that lets you import ChatGPT conversations: The search giant is reportedly building an "Import AI chats" tool for Gemini that will let users export their chat history from platforms like ChatGPT or Claude and upload it directly into Gemini. The feature will only transfer conversational history (not saved memories), and will help preserve chat context so you don't have to start each chat from scratch. The beta feature was spotted in Gemini’s attachment menu, but no official announcement has been made yet.

SpaceX and xAI just completed the largest merger ever — but the real story is what comes next

A closer look at SpaceX(AI). Elon Musk’s SpaceX and xAI just closed the largest merger in history, with the new entity valued at $1.25 trillion. The deal also absorbs X (formerly Twitter) and sets the stage for a blockbuster IPO that could raise up to $50 billion later this year. But the real story isn't the deal itself — it's the idea of building AI infrastructure where no one's built it before.

Data centers in space. Training AI models requires massive amounts of electricity and cooling, and current efforts are straining power grids faster than new capacity can be built. Musk is betting that launching data centers into orbit solves both problems: near-unlimited solar energy and natural cooling in a vacuum.

Powering forward. Kimberly Burke, Director of Government Affairs for Quilty Space, says that orbital computing is speculative, citing unproven economics, aging chips, latency, and limited use cases. But the risks haven’t stopped Musk from moving forward. SpaceX recently filed for approval with the FCC to launch up to 1 million satellites as orbital data centers.

Legitimate business model? Or sci-fi hype? Orbital data centers could genuinely solve AI's energy and cooling bottleneck, a significant issue that could limit further advancement. But launching compute infrastructure into space also comes with major engineering, regulatory, and financial hurdles. The ambition is clear — the outcome is anything but.
