1. OpenAI finally closes massive restructuring deal: After a year of negotiations and legal challenges, the ChatGPT maker has finalized its recapitalization to a for-profit business. The deal puts the nonprofit OpenAI Foundation in control of the new for-profit arm while holding a 26% stake worth $130B. Microsoft snagged a 27% stake, with access to all OpenAI products through 2032.

2. Elon Musk’s alternative to Wikipedia is finally live: The AI-generated encyclopedia, dubbed Grokipedia, uses xAI's Grok to generate and fact-check content, with no human editors involved for now. Early reviews are mixed: some users were impressed, while others suggest that certain entries are suspiciously identical to Wikipedia pages. You can take Grokipedia for a spin here.

3. Google’s new tool helps you create on-brand social content: Google Labs has dropped Pomelli, an AI marketing assistant that helps businesses maintain consistent branding across social media, websites, and advertisements. Adobe launches AI image model and other upgrades to power content creation

Adobe’s annual design conference kicked off in Los Angeles last night, where the company announced an array of current and future updates to its suite of creative tools.

Some of the biggest product updates from the night:

  • Firefly Image 5: A new model that creates native 4MP images with photorealistic lighting and texture. It features layered editing, a tool that treats objects as separate layers, allowing you to edit them individually without compromising the image.

  • Firefly Audio Tools: The update lets you generate commercially safe background music directly in Firefly. You can also create voiceovers in over 15 languages using Adobe and ElevenLabs models.

  • 'Generative Fill' with Partner Models: Photoshop now lets you choose from third-party AI models — including Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, Black Forest Labs Kontext, and Firefly — to edit or modify content with simple text prompts.

  • Firefly Custom Models: You can create your own personalized AI model by simply dragging and dropping your images into Firefly. It'll learn your unique style and generate assets with visual consistency across all your work.

  • Integration with ChatGPT (coming soon): The move will integrate Adobe's creative features directly into ChatGPT, allowing users to toggle between both apps.
