At CES, the Amazon-owned company announced four new features: "Actions" that connect to your email and calendar to take action on your behalf and "Daily Insights" that identify behavioral patterns over weeks to track goals or relationship shifts. The company says no audio is ever stored — it's processed in real-time and then deleted.

Samsung expected to report 160% jump in operating profit as AI chip shortage drives up prices: Analysts expect the Korean tech giant to post $11.7 billion in Q4 operating profit tomorrow — its highest since 2018 — driven by a severe memory chip shortage as customers scramble to meet AI demand. The shortage has caused memory prices to jump significantly, including a 314% year-over-year increase for DDR5 DRAM prices. Samsung’s situation marks a dramatic turnaround: just over a year ago, CEO Jun Young-hyun publicly apologized to investors for lagging behind the competition.
