Welcome back, Superhuman. It seems like just yesterday we were laughing at AI’s inability to generate Will Smith eating spaghetti. Now two new models can create video instantly, which has the potential to reshape everything from websites to TikTok.
Today: Clipto makes searching your computer easier, how to manage your inbox and Drive with Claude, and get the latest prompts and trending social posts.
TODAY IN AI
1. Runway unveils a first-of-its-kind model: Solaris renders websites and apps in real time by streaming interactive AI video instead of traditional code. Runway calls it an Interface World Model and says it’s a strong starting point, but there are still several things it can’t do. Early access is limited. The platform also recently added Seedance 2.5, a top video model from ByteDance, with the announcement video generating 7M+ views for its intense realism.
2. Startup offers a new approach to searching your computer files: Clipto, which just raised $15M at a $250M valuation, lets you search through computer files by describing what you’re looking for to an LLM, which then surfaces the relevant documents, images, video, or audio. All the processing runs locally, so your data is kept private (cloud is optional). It’s available on Mac, Windows, iPhone, and Android. Try it here.
3. A real-time video model is fueling a surge in infinite interactive apps: MiniMax H3 Max can generate video faster than you can watch it. Its release has sparked several new projects from both companies and hobbyists, including continuous livestreams where the audience prompts the next scene, interactive prompt-as-you-go video games, and a TikTok-style app that generates content as you scroll.

FROM THE FRONTIER
Use AI with pride, but don’t be a “meat proxy”

Made with Midjourney
If you read this WSJ Op Ed, you basically read an AI analysis. The author, legendary hedge fund manager Stanley Druckenmiller, drew backlash once readers realized the piece was AI-generated, and responded bluntly, “Of course I used AI.” His candidness has led to a debate: when and where is it OK to use AI?
The distinction lies in how you use it
Nobody wants to read work that’s copied verbatim from ChatGPT, Claude, or another LLM. In fact, people who do this — ask AI, copy the answer, and pass it off for others to read — have been given a new nickname: “meat proxies.” That applies to emails, reports, and even Slack messages.
AI works better as an assistant. Think of it as a research tool, idea generator, or first drafter. Use it to get a starting point, but then craft its output into your own words or meaning (or vice versa). That’s the difference between AI-assisted and AI-generated, and that distinction is getting more important to understand.
Ernst & Young just committed $100M in bonuses for employees who demonstrate “people skills,” marking a significant turnaround from the messaging this time last year. That’s a strong signal companies still value human skills like leadership, judgment, and innovation — despite the widespread push to use AI.

What’s trending on socials & headlines today

Meme of the day
🤖 Charleston AI: The internet can’t tell whether this commercial is satire or not. It mixes the messaging of an AI startup with the feel of a small town infomercial, for a final result that just feels off (1M views).
🥹 Helping a Buddy: This post is guaranteed to make you smile. A food delivery robot needed help crossing the street, so it politely asked a human to press the crosswalk button (don’t worry, they did).
🚘 Personal Mechanic: Stop paying $100 for a mechanic quote every time your check engine light comes on. Just buy an OBD scanner and hook it up to your preferred LLM for a free diagnosis whenever you need it.
🎤 Debate Arena: How are your political debate skills? A new vibe-coded project lets you find out. It matches you with a real person who disagrees with your views, lets you debate, and has an AI judge score the arguments. Try it out.
🧠 Claude Gets Creative: Someone asked Fable 5 to create its own website, and its final product went much deeper than expected. The AI describes its loves, fears, and many other introspections in a visually gorgeous layout (1.5M views).

Vintage Travel Poster

Source: iamsofiaijaz on X
ChatGPT Image 2.0: Create a vintage mid-century travel poster illustration of {CITY, REGION/COUNTRY} in a refined 1950s–1960s screen-printed style.
Use a tall vertical composition with a warm cream paper background and elegant dark navy typography at the top reading “{CITY}” in widely spaced letters, with smaller “{REGION/COUNTRY}” underneath.
Feature the destination’s most iconic landmarks arranged as a stylized scenic collage: {LANDMARK 1} on the left, {LANDMARK 2} prominently centered, {LANDMARK 3} on the right, and {LANDMARK 4} in the lower foreground. Include {DISTANT LANDMARK OR NATURAL FEATURE} subtly in the background.
Surround the landmarks with scenery characteristic of the destination, including {LANDSCAPE FEATURES}, {LOCAL VEGETATION}, and a winding {PATHWAY/ROAD/RIVER} leading through the foreground toward the landmarks. Add a calm {SKY COLOR} sky with a few simple cream-colored clouds.
Use flat geometric shapes, subtle paper grain, slightly muted vintage colors, clean edges, minimal shading, elegant proportions, and a nostalgic screen-print texture.
Overall aesthetic: sophisticated retro tourism poster, minimalist mid-century graphic design, hand-illustrated appearance, balanced composition, soft desaturated palette, archival print texture, charming and timeless, high detail, no photorealism. Aspect ratio: 2:3 vertical.EXTRAS
