Samsung banned the use of generative AI tools due to security concerns after sensitive code was uploaded to ChatGPT by some of its engineers. The ban applies to company-owned devices and networks, and employees are warned that non-compliance could lead to disciplinary action, including termination. Read the full thing here →

🧠 Insight: Economists Warn AI could increase inequality in society  

AI could significantly increase global productivity. But it could also widen inequality and reduce the tax bases. According to economist Yingying Lu, AI's rapid and cheap implementation is a cause for concern, and economists need to model its complex and radical change to make clear statements on its impact.

According to Lu, AI could also challenge traditional economic modelling of humans as "labour" and require a more complex understanding of economic agents. Read more about it here →
