1. Gemini app downloads are reportedly catching up to ChatGPT: ChatGPT remains the most popular AI chatbot with 85 million monthly downloads in October. But Gemini is closing the gap with 64 million downloads, up from 16 million in August. Gemini users also spend more time chatting than ChatGPT or Claude users. The trend is in large part driven by Gemini’s enhanced image generation capabilities.

AI helps drive $11.8 billion in Black Friday sales: Adobe found that AI-driven traffic to US retail websites jumped 805% compared to last year, helping push Black Friday sales to a record $11.8 billion. 3. HSBC releases critical analysis of OpenAI’s financial future: The financial services giant estimates OpenAI will not be cash flow positive before 2030, despite growing revenue. The partnership bombshell. Warner Music Group just announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with Suno, the AI music platform it was previously suing. The goal? To “empower the creative community and open new revenue opportunities for artists.” From lawsuit to partnership in one announcement — what changed?
