1. Google adds more Gemini-powered features to Chrome, including a cross-tab assistant and Auto Browse: The Search giant unveiled a major Chrome update embedding Gemini 3 across a range of new features, including a side panel that works as a personalized browsing assistant across Google tabs and apps. Another key feature is Auto Browse, an agentic tool that navigates websites, logs into your accounts, and completes multi-step tasks on your behalf (it pauses before making purchases). 2. New startup, Twin, announces $10M to scale its “AI company builder” platform: Hugo Mercier, CEO of Twin, announced that his new company has raised $10M in seed funding to continue developing its AI automation platform. The startup helps non-technical professionals streamline critical business functions by using AI to create custom software solutions. It claims to have already deployed 149,500 agents for customers. 3. OpenAI and Anthropic announce tens of billions in fresh capital: SoftBank is reportedly in talks to invest up to $30 billion more in OpenAI as part of a $100 billion round that would value the AI leader at roughly $830 billion. Meanwhile, Anthropic closed an oversubscribed $10 billion funding round that could go as high as $20 billion if Microsoft and Nvidia solidify their plans to contribute. Anthropic also reportedly hiked its revenue forecasts, now expecting to hit $18 billion this year and $55 billion next year.
