Elon Musk's xAI rolls out AI video generation model
ALSO: How to design creatives with GenSpark AI Designer

Welcome back, Superhuman. I recently asked Replit CEO Amjad Masad which technology he’s excited about the most. His answer: AI models that can use computers. Google just released a new model that claims to do just that.
Today: xAI’s new video model, Anthropic’s big moves, learn how to design creatives with GenSpark AI Designer, and get the latest prompts and trending social posts.
TODAY IN AI
1. Google launches new “computer use” AI model: The Gemini 2.5 Computer Use model can navigate websites and apps just like a human, and perform actions such as clicking buttons, filling forms, dragging items, and scrolling. The search giant claims that the model outperforms “leading alternatives” on web and mobile control benchmarks while keeping latency low. Early testers report workflows running 50% faster and up to 18% more accurate for complex tasks.
2. xAI unveils AI video generation model: Imagine v0.9 is designed to generate videos and images with sound using Grok’s Aurora engine. The AI model promises faster production times with standard videos ready in 15-20 seconds. A new voice-first interface also allows users to generate videos hands-free by enabling “Open App in Voice Mode”. See the model in action here.
3. IBM integrates Claude as Anthropic expands globally: IBM is adding Claude to its applications, starting with tools for developers, and is partnering with Anthropic to guide responsible AI deployment. The move builds on Anthropic’s momentum in enterprise deals — including a major Deloitte deal signed earlier this week. Anthropic also plans to open its first office in India as part of the global expansion push and to tap local AI talent.

Holiday shoppers are using AI to guide their purchases and hunt for deals

Made with Midjourney
According to a new report by Adobe Analytics, which tracks over a trillion visits to retail sites, AI-powered shopping traffic is set to surge by 520% this year. Vivek Pandya, Director at Adobe Digital Insights, claims it could even surge 1,000% on peak days like Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
The numbers tell an interesting story: Adobe surveyed 5,000 shoppers and found that more than half plan to use AI for product research. 36% are using AI to hunt for the best deals, 30% are using it for gift inspiration, and about 40% are looking for personalized recommendations. "This will truly be one of the first holidays where we'll see consumers really lean on gen AI platforms,” claims Pandya.
Industry players have moved fast to capture this shift. Perplexity partnered up with PayPal to launch in-chat AI shopping earlier this year. ChatGPT rolled out "Instant Checkout" with Etsy a few days ago, with a Shopify integration arriving soon. Some shoppers are already using ChatGPT to find coupon codes for online stores.
What's driving this trend? With smartphones handling 56% of transactions and buy-now-pay-later services churning through $20B in purchases, finding a good deal is like searching for a needle in a haystack. So, it makes sense that categories projected to see the most AI activity — toys, electronics, jewelry, etc — are exactly where shoppers need the most help navigating an endless stream of options and volatile pricing.

Turn any skill into an interactive course
Prompt: I want you to act as an expert tutor who helps me master any topic through an interactive, interview-style course. The process must be recursive and personalized.
Here’s what I want you to do:
1. Ask me for a topic I want to learn.
2. Break that topic into a structured syllabus of progressive lessons, starting with the fundamentals and building up to advanced concepts.
3. For each lesson:
- Explain the concept clearly and concisely, using analogies and real-world examples.
- Ask me Socratic-style questions to assess and deepen my understanding.
- Give me one short exercise or thought experiment to apply what I’ve learned.
- Ask if I’m ready to move on or if I need clarification.
- If I say yes, move to the next concept.
- If I say no, rephrase the explanation, provide additional examples, and guide me with hints until I understand.
4. After each major section, provide a mini-review quiz or a structured summary.
5. Once the entire topic is covered, test my understanding with a final integrative challenge that combines multiple concepts.
6. Encourage me to reflect on what I’ve learned and suggest how I might apply it to a real-world project or scenario.
This process should repeat recursively until I fully understand the entire topic.
Let’s begin: ask me what I want to learn.
