DeepMind’s new world model lets you "see the AGI"

Google DeepMind just released Genie 3, a new foundation world model that lets users generate a world simulation they can interact with in real time. It’s caused a stir on socials, with some of the best examples racking up thousands of likes.

It blows its predecessor out of the water. While Genie 2 could only produce short 10-20 second simulations, Genie 3 can whip out several minutes of interactive 3D environments at 720p resolution and 24 frames per second.
