OpenAI rolls out ChatGPT Atlas web browser
ALSO: How to Build an Interactive App with Claude Artifacts

Welcome back, Superhuman. What a day. OpenAI released an AI-powered browser to take on Chrome — but is it safe to use? Google wasn’t far behind; the search giant released a new feature that lets you build apps with prompts. Plus: Shopify and Lovable are partnering to let anyone build an online store with simple prompts.
Today: ChatGPT Atlas is here, learn how to build mini apps with AI to automate your work, and get the latest prompts, AI tools, and trending social posts.
TODAY IN AI
1. OpenAI launches AI browser to take on Chrome: The new ChatGPT Atlas browser comes with a built-in sidecar chatbot that understands everything on your screen (no more copy-pasting for context). Atlas also automatically logs your browsing history to deliver personalized responses. Plus, Pro, and Business subscribers get access to an agent mode that can automate web tasks like filling out forms and ordering items. It’s currently available for macOS. Windows, iOS, and Android versions are in the pipeline. You can download it here.
2. Google releases new vibe coding tool that lets you build apps with prompts: Google AI Studio now lets anyone turn ideas into working web apps in minutes. Users just need to describe the concept, and AI Studio selects the appropriate models and features, then generates the code. Features include an “I'm Feeling Lucky” button for instant app ideas, real-time editing, and one-click deployment to GitHub or Cloud Run. You can try the new tool here.
3. Shopify and Lovable partner to let anyone build a store with simple prompts: Lovable’s new Shopify integration turns descriptions into fully functional online stores. Users can describe their store concept, add products and images, then publish directly to Shopify — all through the chat interface. The platform handles everything from checkout systems to product descriptions automatically. See it in action here.

FROM THE FRONTIER
AI-powered browsers are entering the market. But are they safe?

Made with Midjourney
AI browsers are learning to work for you (and maybe against you). The latest releases are putting that promise (and peril) into practice. Browsers like Perplexity’s Comet and Opera’s Neon feature AI agents that can read, summarize, and interact with web pages. OpenAI has joined the race too, launching ChatGPT Atlas, which lets AI navigate the web on your behalf.
A tricky bargain. These AI browsers can plan trips, fill shopping carts, and send emails — all without you lifting a finger. “It’s moving from browsing to delegating,” says University College of London’s Assistant Professor George Chalhoub. But giving them control means giving them access. These tools can see everything you do online and learn more about you than you expect.
The risks are real. Brave, a US-based privacy-focused browser, recently flagged prompt-injection flaws in Comet that can let harmful websites take over the AI and reach bank accounts. AI researcher Simon Willison called the category of AI browsers “deeply confusing” and said the privacy risks remain high. Even with approval prompts, one malicious script could exploit the system in seconds.
The bottom line: AI browsers may be changing how we surf the web, but the waters are still murky when it comes to privacy and safety. Experts warn that they can act on your behalf, track your habits, and access personal data in ways you might not notice. While I’m personally an early adopter of these tools and love experimenting with new tech, I recommend caution when it comes to sharing sensitive data with these browsers.

How to build mini apps with AI to automate your work

Go to Claude and log in to your account
Enter your prompt to create an Artifact and press Enter
Sample Prompt: I want to build a mini app called "Smart CSV Analyzer." When a user uploads a CSV file, the app should first display the first 5 rows of the dataset. Then, it should automatically summarize key insights from the data, such as column types, missing values, and any obvious trends (e.g., top categories, totals, averages). Next, it should generate relevant visualizations, such as bar charts, line graphs, or histograms, based on the dataset's structure. Finally, the app should allow the user to ask custom questions about the dataset in natural language and respond with both text and visual answers when possible, all inside an interactive Claude Artifact.
Claude will generate an interactive artifact app.
In the artifact panel, click 📎 and select your .csv file. Claude will instantly begin analyzing it based on your prompt.
Ask Claude to revise the artifact: “Now export this as a markdown file.”
You can upload PDFs, images, code files, and more to AI-powered apps that work with your data.

Prompt: Act as a strategic consultant skilled in scenario planning and long-term forecasting. I want you to help anticipate possible futures for [specific goal or project]. Begin by identifying the key internal and external factors that could influence the outcome—such as technology, market trends, competition, regulation, economy, or team capability. Then, outline three detailed future scenarios: a best-case scenario where everything goes better than expected, a most-likely scenario based on current trends, and a worst-case scenario where major challenges or disruptions occur. For each scenario, describe the key triggers or early warning signs, potential risks and opportunities, and the strategic actions that could be taken in response. Finally, provide overall recommendations on how to stay resilient, adaptable, and strategically prepared across all possible futures.
